The grunt alone frighten Kanashi, all the horror games were not paying off now if he didn't know any better he was acting almost like sashi, the scaredy cat that he always was bound to be when him and Matt played those kind of video games then again, the same could be said about Tenshi sometimes. Pulling back he blinked blood dripping down the corners of his mouth.

"For your first time as a vampire, it was average," Shimi stated plainly, looking down at his fledgling. "You wouldn't know what to focus on, how to sink your fangs into flesh just the right way so that there is no pain."

Stroking Kanashi's hair, Shimi smiled slightly. These moments were precious to him and he took great care to pay attention to every, little detail.

Kanashi felt 1) like a child 2) like a pet. He chuckled softly to himself then held on to the older vampire he knew he was lucky his ex was the one that had turned him other wise true horror would be hunting his very life.

For some odd reason he also seemed rather cute when being the way he was being like a father, and a mentor not really something he ever saw Shimi ever be. Well he did but not as serious as he was.

"Some things you will just need to practice on, but for now," Shimi trailed off as he nuzzled down to his fledgling's neck to lap at the marks he made. "There are times that all you need to bring your prey down is your tongue, whether that be smooth talking or a bit of maneuvering. Your mouth is one of your greatest weapons, not that it wasn't before as when you were a brat, but now it can get you out of just as much trouble as you used to get into once you learn how to use it."

The older vampire couldn't wait until Kanashi was old enough, then he would show his childe how absolutely wonderful it was to be a vampire - with a vampire. However, that wouldn't be happening for at least a year and maybe up to five. For now, Kanashi was 'recently deceased', which meant he still thought like a human (however special a human he had been) and would have to be taught to think like a vampire, a proper vampire.

Kanashi nodded taking special mental note on everything the older male was telling him. So he was going to learn to use his mouth, well he better he didn't want to end up like the vamps who got themselves killed -- hunters. Shit- the thought of Zig cross him mind his favorite brother wasn't going to be pleased, at all.

"As I said, never before have you been as vulnerable as you are now, even when you were dying in the Town of the Dead. That is why it is so important that I protect you," Shimi explained, stroking his fledgling's hair soothingly. "It might surprise you how many hundreds of thousands of vampires haven't made it passed being a fledgling and most of those failures had nothing to do with Hunters or outsiders at all."

Moving his hand down to Kanashi's mouth, he wiped up most of the blood and offered his hand to the younger vampire.

"Never drink your own blood. Even if you are mad with hunger, should you drink your own blood it will poison you. It can destroy you."
