Clover was born to a wealthy family, as wealthy as the Queen and King of Hearts allowed them to be anyway. Clover's Mother (The Queen of Cloves) had always been overprotective of her only child, when approached and asked what she had given birth to; her answer simply was, a Clover. Never anyone in wonderland was able to decide whether the child was a boy or a girl. The king of Diamonds was never pleased with the hidden secret of the Clove family. And the family of Spades Never truly cared to figure out what the child was.
Never the less Clover grew up, hiding the true identity of itself. This caused for much fun for clover since the clothing they allowed Clover to wear changed every other week as did Clovers way of acting. Being born so fair, to a family of many fair males as well as females Clover was able to mimic everyone's ways soon losing itself in that game.
