A silent gasp could be seen from Oraku as his introduction and problem was overlooked. He had never felt so interrupted before. It seemed he was pushed to the side suddenly causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"Well I guess then...", he said to himself and he turned to leave the room headed to the stairwell.
Upon hiking up the stairs, he wondered what he would find in the trunk again to wear. If he was going to be walking alone in the city he was in, he was going to have to look at least a bit more normal and more attractive. He depended on his looks a lot lately. Finding the room that held the trunk, he walked over to it and crouched by it and invaded the privacy of it once more. Finding a black sweater, a pair of tight jeans and low and behold a pair of black flipflops. Sadly the sandals had flowery swirls on them but he would have to deal. Almost ripping the tank top and vest off, he quickly slid the sweater over his torso and smiled.
"Much better"
Pushing the tight shorts down his legs, he heard another person enter the kitchen downstairs.
"Must be that girl from before. Maybe she can walk with me...", he started to say as he finished pulling up the jeans with a little struggle.
Looking down at his feet, the black boots still adorning them, he shrugged and placed the sandals back into the trunk.
"The dont look that bad now half covered up", he told himself as he began to make way to the stairs again the sound of his feet echoing throughout the top floor and more than likely pounding down to the bottom.

"Keep them. They are of no use to us," Nanashi stated calmly, waiting for the redhead to come back down from the second floor. These two were very pushy, he'd noticed, and didn't wait long for others' reactions. "I can make the trip mercifully short, if you would prefer. We're already headed to Neo-Tokyo, but I can make another stop for you since most of the other places are so far away."
His brother was silently grumbling and clinging to him, but Nanashi didn't mind at all. Truly, they hadn't spent enough time together and he rather missed that connection. They would do everything in their power to reconnect once they had enough blood, he was certain, but that was later. Now was the time for traveling and hunting so that they would be stronger. There was something
wrong
with Sato, he knew, and he would not allow it to continue.
Offering her a hand, he waited.
"Why are you being so nice to someone so rude? Where have you been, anyway? Shimi is weird. I don't like him," Sato hissed aloud, staying wrapped around his older brother firmly since he didn't much like their easiest mode of travel. It wasn't something he could do yet and somehow wondered if he ever would. Both of his white-haired brothers couldn't do it at all and while Seishin just relied on others or vehicles, Tenshi actually used some form of
light
to travel just as fast as their other brothers.

Madeline was staring at the hand which had been offered. She then glossed over Sato who was now acting hopelessly immature and not to mention even ruder than before. Did she really want to be stuck with him for the remainder of the day? But did she really have a choice. She had just realized that in the process of warping from Wonderland into Hopeless she had lost her sword and going to Neo-Tokyo unarmed was out of the question. These people probably did not have a sword lying around the house and there was no worthy sword smith to be found in the whole of hopeless. In other words, she was trapped and had to swallow her pride. This was not exactly something that she liked doing. This thinking process had enabled her to calm herself down and the haziness that she had been experiencing which obstructed her view a little seemed to clear up. She suddenly felt a lot more patient with Sato, but did not really give it a lot of thought.
She gave Nanashi a warm smile: "I thank you for your kindness sir". She did not take his hand just yet, for she suddenly felt that she had to settle things with Sato. "I am truly sorry for my conduct earlier on in the garden. I was just trying to help, yet sometimes I do not really think before I act. I must have come across as very rude. And that after you had been so kind as to lend me a change of clothes. Really, it is inexcusable. I sincerely apologize".

Quickly making his way down the stairs Oraku tugged at the sweater around his torso. It was itchy but comfortable. A pro and con just like himself. Lovely to look at, Difficult to stay around. Tossing his head to the side after he got back down to the first floor, he sighed and made way back to the kitchen in hopes that the long haired vampire had changed his mind. Before he rounded the corner to the entry of the kitchen he overhead the mentioning of "skipping" over to Neo-Tokyo. A wide grin spread across his lips and he walked into the kitchen.
"I take it we are headed to the Neo-Tokyo district. Well if things couldn't have worked out better. When do we head out?", he asked with a pleasant tone.
His eyes scanned the room and looked at all the faces. Two vampires, a miniature clone, and himself. This would prove to be an interesting adventure. Sniffing a little, he stepped closer to the group.
"How do you plan on traveling, might I ask?", his eyebrow raised after saying so.
He placed his hands into his back pockets and put weight to one hip.
"You wouldn't be using shadows would you?"

Sato stared for a long moment at the blond girl. Why did she feel the need to apologize now? Did she finally realize that they didn't have to deal with her shit and could have just left her on the street? What about her completely rude reaction when they first met?
Leaning down so that he could whisper in his little brother's ear, Nanashi soothed his hurt, smoothed down his ruffled feathers. Yes, she had been rude, but the place they had found themselves in was strange and dangerous. It was unsurprising that after finding herself in their world again she lashed out.
Finally closing his eyes, Sato shrugged and turned his head away, feeling safe in the brown-haired vampire's arms. This was everything to him; Nanashi was everything to him.
His -
fatherloverself
- brother was calmly talking over his head, telling the girl that he was just overwhelmed at regaining family and that his little assistant had been created to try to fill a gaping void in his life. The explanation wasn't quite true, but maybe it was more honest than he knew. It was possible.
Idly, he heard said creation come back into the shop and Nanashi instructed him to watch the shop and wait for Ayaka to return. For some reason, Sashi agreed wholeheartedly as if it was some sort of mission he would give his all to complete. Why did his damn techno-clone obey Nana faster and easier than it obeyed him?
It wasn't fair.
Then again, if Nana told him to abandon the whole plan and start feeding properly again, would he be able to disobey? He considered that for a second and came to the conclusion that, no, he probably wouldn't be able to go against his big brother on this.
There were loud, clonking sounds as the other redhead tromped down the stairs and proceeded to ask impertinent questions. Sato didn't really like either of these two and looked forward to them leaving so that he could have alone time with Nana.
Where did this unwavering attachment come from? Was it really because they were brothers? It wasn't normal, he thought, but then what was normal?
"As soon as you both take my hands and I am going to be using shadows, actually, Mr. Oraku. Why? Is there a problem?" Nanashi was loud and could be obnoxious, but what he was aiming for now was knowledgeable, experienced. The two
would
take his hands or some other body part and the shadows would take them away from Hopeless because the older vampire was practically oozing confidence and safety.
Well, maybe that was just Sato's interpretation because he surely was going to go right along with whatever Nanashi wanted him to do. It was the nature of their relationship, he realized slowly. This was what they
did
and it didn't matter what the other two did, just so long as he followed after his -
papa
me
lovely
- brother as he was supposed to do.

Madeline nodded towards Nanashi. Well that explained a lot about the man's behaviour. Maybe he was like this because he had just been too lonely? She scolded herself for being so judgemental. Sometimes she seemed really apt to drawing conclusions a bit too hastily. She disliked that part of herself... She had tried to chance it, but to no avail.
She had no idea what on earth this "shadow" way of travelling was, but the tone of voice of the vampire assured her that he knew what he was doing and that he was to be trusted. She extended her hand towards him in a rather ladylike manner. "Very well then", she said as she gave him a sweet smile. "Please lead the way sir".

Oraku smiled as sweetly as he could and laid his hand lightly in the vampires hand.
"There is no problem. I was just curious. My bother tends to use that technique of travel. That's why I ask."
He wondered to himself what it was like to feel nothing but shadows around. He had seems what they did for Yugire, but for someone like him...he wasn't sure he would like it or not. Deep down inside his small heart, he sometime fly like he was scared of pitch black. Red allured his senses to the maximum that was no lie, but something about black frightened him. Its darkness caused his skin to goosebump over. His hands hands started to sweat.
"Im ready when you are, excuse me if I had a shaky hand this. This is my first time."
Oraku looked over to the blonde and narrowed his eyes for a second. It seemed she was very well skilled in apologies. He would have to ask who her teacher was. This thought caused a small grin to com to his lips.

"Not to worry. It won't take but a heartbeat," Nanashi assured them, gripping both of their hands firmly and smiling reassuringly. "Deep breaths, please." The red-haired vampire wanted to hit him, but he wasn't really fond of this mode of travel, either. Instead, he took a deep breath, even if it was mostly useless.
"A~and another deep breath," Nanashi instructed, completely serious. The vampire continued smiling and meeting the others's eyes calmly. "Once more please." Then, when they were about to exhale, the shadows descended like velvety darkness and took them away, leaving Sashi in awe.
"It was like - whoa! One second they're there and the other - OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!" The little candy creation squealed and ran out to take care of his wife-y, telling her about his daddy getting devoured by darkness.
