A night of the 'drink' (18+ for bad words)
« on: July 12, 2010, 10:25:10 PM »
In a city full of sin, just withen the area known as "The red district"
Stood a bar opening for the first time in months.
The old owners had mystaly disaperd a few months ago. rumer had it, a mod took them out due to some unpaid dept.
But now with a fresh coat of paint that made it apper more english it was reopening under new ownership.
On the inside was a very warm relaxing area.
Old hard wood floors, larg wooden pillers with decate carvings edged in it. The room color was mastlyof a light blue, white and brown.
It defently had a huge make over.
The bar tender/owner stood there placing the lash glasses up in the shelf.
Standing a mere 5'6, bright blond and red hair styled like that of a punk. long bangs in the front but the back puffed up, larg cat ears with markings of the rare snow leopard of the mountens. he wore a long over coat of a englih man back in the mid 1800's it was blue with blake highlight. under the jaket whict stay open he wore a plain blue ves and a black shirt. For pants was more shorts not covering much of his skin, long back socks and proper male heeled shoes.

he was oddly matched but in a way it worked well for him. his twin tail stuck behind him swaying side to side lazly. but what would really stand out about him. was his gaze. bright cold blue eyes that seem  to look down on those who even stood higher then him. he had the air about him of a royal blood.
"time to open." He huffed wipeing his hands and going to unlock the door turning on the neon flashing light saying open. and walking back. if he wasent in need of money. he'd be the one going around this time of the day looking for a nice bar, pretty women and perhaps a fight or too. But alas.. The stomic needed to be full. and in order to get into those said fights. He had to have the money to repay the bartenders or owners for and damige he help cause. It was how he kept a good reputioshion amonghts the bar owners.

One step after another, he took them and plodded along blindly just as he had for hundreds of miles from where he started. His green eyes were empty of life, of fire, of anything that would show that there was something left behind them. The fox ears perched atop his head were folded down, but against his black hair they were glaringly obvious.
Dressed in all black, he could almost blend into the shadows if he were actually trying. His path was straight through the middle of the sidewalk without sparing even a glance one direction or another. Said clothes were also several sizes too large, most notably the black trench coat that he was practically drowning in and hid his fox tail from all but the most prying eyes.
The area was not quite as bustling as it would be in an hour or two, but that didn't mean that there weren't people watching and wanting and betting how much he'd be worth if they caught, claimed, and sold.

A smaller form not paying all that much attenchion on what was going on too busy enjoying a nice skip, bumped right into the figure all in black. Making him fall flat on his butt.
On the ground sitting was a cat with twin tails. his hair was long and warn down. It held the color of the winter sky. With half moon like patterns randomly in his hair. his cat ears matched the coloring. He wore bright purple and black striped clothing with long hanging jewerly  jeans walces the works. Double tails matching the winter blue color poked from under his clothing.
"owwyy." the small cat creater moened then he looked up and gasped.
'oh no.. did i.. did i hurt you?" he asked truly concern. His eyes where odd.
one was purple the other a light white blue.
He wasent blind.. just how his eyes where.

Being bumped into jostled him, but he did not fall. It seemed to take a long time for the other's words to register and even longer for him to respond. Everything around him seemed to be in slow motion, but he struggled to focus on what was happening.
"What?" Lifting a hand to his head, he shook himself and tried to focus again, receiving a better response this time. The world around him came into focus and the green-eyed boy felt lost.
"I'm sorry. I should have done... something," he murmured, leaning down to offer the other male a hand up. His ears flicked curiously, but the noise around them was unpleasant and they folded down again.
     "Where is this place?"

The small cat blinked yp at the fox then took the offerd hand thanking him for such kindness.
" We are in the 'red distract.' a place where it isent very safe to walk around alone." he blinked noticing that he had been doing the same thing, his ears flicked about taking in  the sound as if searching for said danger with only his hearing.
"Hrm.." he thought  looking up at the other those huge eyes of him taking him in.It wasent a judgeig stare, more like a memorishion star.
" I KNOW! since your alone, and im alone! Lets go be alone together. and beside, you look sad..Like you dont have a careing friend.." He suddenly smiled grabbing the other hand taking it in both of his.
"I know, I well be your friend! FROM here on out you can come to me for anything! AND TO CELIBRATE OUR NEW FRIENDSHIP!" he suddenly startig pullin gthe other alone.
"i'll take you to my brothers bar to get a drink and maybe a snack!" he almost sang while draging him on.
he had a firm grip for sombody his size

"Uh... oh," the boy murmured in response to the knowledge of where they were. Really, it didn't mean anything to him, but if this person said it was dangerous to be alone, then the wise thing to do would be to get out of there as soon as possible.
Then he was being dragged along somewhere by someone he didn't know and it didn't seem like there was any way to escape, not that he tried too hard. The fox boy still felt rather drowsy and being pulled along like this made all the lights (most of which were red) dance dizzily.
He didn't have any other place to go, no home, no destination, just the knowledge that he needed to find someone important to him. His yami was somewhere out there and he needed to find her, but there was no way to know where she was.
Where was she? Where could she be? Where would she go? Where does she live?
     He did not know.

"BRITHER! congrats on the new place!"

"The hell? daichi GET OUT i dont want to serve u as my 'first custmer."
"Aww.. well i brought a friend who looked real thirsty!"  the owner huffed taking a moment to puff up the back of his hair a bit.
"fine, sit down." a few moments later  two mugs of water was set down infront of them.
"if you want somethign harder as me later." then with a huff he stomped away. The cat who draged him in was all but smileing.
"Ow dear, i forgot. I am Daichi! what is your name friend?"

"I'm... Kanashi Hikari, but... Faceless always calls me Kana-kun or Hika-chan," the fox boy responded slowly, looking around as if half-asleep. After a long moment of staring at one of the lights, he looked down and noticed the water in front of him. Hikari lifted his hand, which swayed from side to side almost wildly, and plunked it down by the base of the mug. His fingers wiggled awkwardly as he got a hold of the container. There was another long moment of staring seemingly off into space before he got his other hand up there and around the mug.
Brow wrinkling in concentration, the fox boy lifted the mug of water, no matter how shakily, to his lips and drank noisily, eyes half-closed. Once the mug was empty, Kanashi stared at it as if confused about why there was no more to drink before setting the mug down on his lap, hands still wrapped around it as if it were his lifeline.
"Thank you," he mumbled, voice slightly higher than it had been. Frowning slightly, he cleared his throat and coughed. When he spoke again, his voice had that soft, dreamy quality of someone who wasn't quite sure if they were awake or asleep.
     "Your brother?"
