~ Hey there everyone Neko here again. On my search to allow everyone the news of what is coming up on anime I came across a post that made my blood boil. Of course this is quite bias even thought the person admited to have watched many other shows such as Cowboy Bebop and a few others which to my opinion are fairly good. Well here is the thing and I don't think many of the people who replay to that post said. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T WATCH IT AND SHUT YOUR BITCHING! -lets out a sigh- ok that felt good. anyway, here is how other people watch anime I'll let you decided what you think to each of his points.

Theres a few top things about anime that seriously piss me off and make me want to slap whoever made it.

Okay, this isn't the worst... obviously hits number ten as a minor irk I get. Now don't get me wrong, anime has a nice fluid artstyle to it, but sometimes inproportionate character figures, eyes, and body parts seriously ruin the whole thing altogether. Anime is notorious for making eyes almost as big as the persons head, ears half the size of a cocnut, and hair that sticks up in impossible fashions. Astro Boy is an acception, because it was old, trying to add a dispropotionate american cartoon style to try and reach american audiences. ASIDE from the silly little cutesy tangents where their heads inflate to about the size of a mountain, which is also a bit overused, still I really hate this kind of depiction:

Now thats good, of course, cartoons should never look like the real thing, that would take the fun out of it... but when you get stuff like the above mentioned... alien 9... I just wanna punt whoever made it into an anime in the butt.

This, I just flat out hate, and a sign of good anime is that it doesnt have That cute little animal who appears reoccuringly to perform stupid tasks that almost have no significance whatsoever

Transforming into some ultra beast
Repeating its name mutliple times, or a similar noise

Role:
To sit around and be cute, comic relief (anime is usually not that hilarious to begin with)
Transforms, to achieve task, sometimes it happens once in the series, others, it happens too many times, or just rarely.


That said, I just hate it when it rears its head to make that noise, talk (god forbid), or whatever it feels like doing for whatever damn reason, I hate them. Most shows would REALLY be better without them.

Okay, I think a majority of japanese anime script writers and creators have some mental disorder, where, they have no sense of funny. The only anime that has made me laugh so far is FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai champloo... Seriously...

When I was in Japan, we were at this theatre to watch an imax movie in the gundam tower for kicks, and I swear to god, during the previews, everyone was busting up at the lamest anime lines ever. I was laughing on the inside, it was so hilarious to watch what a stale sense of humor they have. Complain about changing the script huh? I think what they are TRYING to do is add some funny, and failing. Because the Japanese people DEFINITELY (and I have proof) have an alternate sense of humor.

This sounds really sexist, females play far too unrealistic of a role in a LOT of anime. What are the odds that a woman with a D cup and a pretty dress is going to unforul her clothes to reveal she is actually like, THE QUEEN OF GUNFIGHTING.

Okay, so history has some of its "femme fatales" as we know, but really, not that many of them "kicked ass" quite much like the ones in anime, who ironically have very large asses themselves to match the impossible breast size. In the future, I doubt there will be a large majority of 14 year old girls piloting mobile ssuits and biomechanical machines, face it, the barriers of sexism are still there, not that its right. But if you wanna make a show about girls kicking ass in space, in maid uniforms... The time period needs to be around the year 4000. Also, if you have ever heard of gunslinger girl... That show makes me really want to find the creator and beat him sensless, 5 times, until finally he realizes he is a moron for making it.

A good bit of anime has campy unoriginal plots... or just stupid plots period.

Many times its about this one guy, who kicks lots of ass, and how sometimes, he gets his ass kicked, but triumphs in the end. Now, mix that with your favorite flavors... Ghosts? Bleach... Superpowers? DBZ... Stupid repeatitive battles? Ruroni Kenshin...

Mind you, the plots work so much better in the manga, because instead of boring yourself watching repetition in action, your wasting money for a manga months apart from the last, so you forget about how lame the first one was.

Those cutesy moments when the girl hits someone on the head and says something like "BAKA" or similar Japanese synonyms for moron, idiot, stupid... Its just unrealistic as well as stupid and unfunny.

I hate that BS about not being able to hit girls, wtf? Oh noez, a girl can slap me, thats called lashing out, when a guy hits a girl, its abuse...

If some girl tried to hit me in that sort of manner... I would punch her so hard she would think twice before slapping her boyfriend who she just broke up with in an angry fit...

Sort of like the last, but I hate it when those little sound effects occur and people explode, get hit really hard, have their noses bleed, or get rocketed into the sky and emerge with no scratches. As cute as it is, it really gets annoying seeing someone explode 3 time per episode, or somehow manage to flip over with a crashing sound, and not break their necks...

I hate it when girls have random animal appendages... Its just gross, and I hate it... Its what happens when animators get horney and start drawing, and finally realize the show has a few kids in the audience. One of the biggest things that bugs me...

Now some of his points I agree some anime is just not worth watching, but for God sakes anime isn't just for children (referring to his number 1) and if children watch it is because the parents are dumb enough not to actually pay attention to what their kid is watching. Now some people did stand up for the anime world and for this I thank them it takes guts to stand up to ignorant fools (if I could of I would of posted my first scream on that form) Anyway... he also made a comment about girls~ which I'll probably would of beat the leaving crap out of him and looked down while calling him a baka~ heh...
