Honestly? I can't say that I remember much of anything. It's all kind of blurry and I only seem to have the most recent memory before the, well, accident. Ok so, here it goes. It was a sunny afternoon in my home town, we were all at the local baseball field having a hell of a game. It was my town, filled with a Neko-Jin population, and thus our team versus the next town over, the Inu, and their team. From what I remember I was the pitcher when I wasn't batting. But I was currently up to bat. I grabbed my favorite Titanium Louisville Slugger and went to the warm up area with a small weight on the end of it. I posed up in my batting posture and practiced a few swings, getting my arms nice and warmed up. My helmet fit me perfectly, ears attuned to every noise around me. The cheer of the crowd, the sound of other Neko calling for the batter to take them home. I hear a plink sound, my fellow teammate and friend had hit a got to first. Then it was my turn. I flipped the bat and grabbed it by the wide end, bringing the handle down onto the ground to drop the weight off of it. I posted up on the left side of the base and brought the bat up, eyes watching as the Inu pitcher got his signals from the catcher behind me. I saw that the bases were loaded, it was the bottom of the 9th inning. We were down by 2 points, if I could bring all three of them home we could win the game.

Then the pitch came, and oh man it came fast. I could hear it whizzing through the air as it sped toward me. As it got half way across the distance I swung, dipping my bat low as I telegraphed the slider. Now, I always had a knack for hitting things. For some reason, I found out that if I concentrated I could increased the force of my bat swing. I hit the ball with a thunderous crack and swung the back fully around to my other side and then dropped it. I ran my ass off after that, tearing toward first base as the ball flew. I watched it out of the corner of my eye as it moved past outfield, an Inu outfielder chasing it down. I was rounding second when I heard the announcer say it was a home run, a smile plastered itself upon my face. I threw up my arms and cheered, people cheering my name. Although, this is the weird part. Even though I know they were cheering my name it seemed to be blurred out, only static comes through my memory. That's when it shifts.

I was walking home that night. I was out of my baseball gear and it was cold. I wore a dark blue canvas jacket over black t-shirt with a white tribal print of an eagle on it, the eagle flying towards the right. The hem of the shirt hung down over my brown cargo pants, which fit me slightly baggy, and that night I wore my favorite, all black, vans. Yeah, I was feeling good. I had my bat in my right hand, propped on my shoulder, with my left hand in my pocket. But then the thunder started, looking up and smelling the moisture in the air, I started to run. The last thing I needed was for my short cropped, light brown, hair and the furr on my ears to get all poofy...it was such a hassle to tame again. Then lightly struck, causing my light brown fur covered, tail to coil behind me. I ran quicker, but then...I don't know. I hear a sizzle, a crack, and a feeling of weightlessness before everything went black.

The next thing I knew I heard birds chirruping, it felt hot on my feet and shins. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up, seeing something above me. As my vision cleared I noticed I was in a dry riverbed with the smell of grass in the air, I could tell it was spring time. But over me loomed a massive stone object, which I noticed was a cobble stone bridge. From my lips, I uttered one word "Bridge?" and then got up, picked up my slugger which was next to me, and then started to wander. Try to figure out where I am.

So yeah, call me Bridge. And...I'm kinda lost.

Bridge

:|:Race:|:
Neko

:|:Age:|:
26

:|:Description:|:

He stands at about five foot six, with a lithe and slender build. He has the body of an amateur athelete. His hair is short cropped, slightly curly, and light brown. The ears the make their homes on his head, partially on the side and top of his head at the same time, are a slightly lighter shade of brown with white fur on the inside. The tail that snaked it's way from his tail bone, just above his rump, was the same shade of brown as his ears with a white fur tip. His eyes are a hazel color, with flecks of white. He wears a dark blue canvas jacket, a black T-shirt under that with a tribal eagle on it. The eagle itself is flying to the right with it's wings all the way pulled up like it was about to push down in a flap, claws extended to the front. On his lower half are light brown cargo pants, baggy on him, held up with a cloth belt around his hips. On his feet are black Vans, yes the skate style shoes. He carries a titanium Louisville Slugger around with him.

Rain! At last! Thy shalt do thine epically long blasted posts!
What the world calls "genius" is the state of mental disease arising from the undue predominance of some one of the faculties. The works of such genius are never sound in themselves and, in especial, always betray the general mental insanity.

Thanks for the compliment Blackcat. I'm going to be more active around here, or at least try to be. Maybe bring a few more characters to this site. I'm up to Rp with anyone really :)

Just out of curiosity...Do you have a picture of your character?

One will take you by sight.
One will take you by color.
One will take you by taste.

I do not, S-O-Y. Every pic I fine is either too feminine or too cute looking.

Isn't that the worst? I was lucky and a friend of mine randomly drew one of mine.  :)

Then, I was chatting with Neko, telling her about my problem, and she sketched up my other one!

*lucky* Oh, yes.  :P
