In the beginning....there is nothing.....a single mutation that has brought life to all that you know....yet, there is so much that you don't know...It continues to escape your grasp of reality, an entity that has no name, no face, and no will to be known. An entity that refuses to be seen, to be heard...to be recognized...until now. It cannot simply come to life, instead it makes a life. A manifestation of it's will, it's wants and feelings. This manifestation is a simple gesture, a means of seeking what it wants, what it needs. It wanders the worlds, the fabrics of time, the wrinkles of space, seeking what it needs to survive, and consuming what it doesn't. It is a growing mind, a mutation of a space that has been long hidden and ignored. It now lives as a breathing, consuming, ever-watchful entity. Waiting for it's moment to crash down upon you like a drowning wave, and consume all that you know...But don't despair my sweet. There are very few of the blessed ones. The ones who have ventured close enough to the entity known as the Voidling, long enough to gain some insightful knowledge of the creature that they have come to revere as The End. The void protects it's Voidling at all costs. However, should the Voidling take too much damage. It will withdraw. For how long though, is the real question.
The Voidling as a whole is mysterious in every sense of the word. It may have a weakness or it may not. It appears to be a frail girl who will stare at you as if you had just done something mildly amusing. It has no emotions. So it cannot recognize pity, remorse, or mercy. Both Void and Voidling seek only one thing. To Consume any and everything in it's path. It is an entity that will never be filled.....However. One must be careful when creating life. Like all creations, one's creation might just form a mind of it's own..... It is....the manifested consciousness of The Void.
