Shuffling his feet, the Hare watched, rather nervous, as Ayaka dug around in the apartment. Clothes were surprisingly scarce, while trinkets and cookbooks could be found in abundance. Some of the dolls gave him the chills and hoped that Sato was made of sterner stuff than he was or there might be some problems. The redhead seemed to be stronger, but the Hare didn't know him very well.

The spray of dust startled him badly, but all he could get out was a tiny shriek before he fell back, tripping over a frilly ottoman and landing flat on his back. With the air knocked out of him and the dust cloud clogging the air, the poor Hare could hardly breathe, only cough weakly. Rolling over onto his side, he persisted and after several long moments was able to breathe a bit without coughing.
The March Hare took the watch and looked at it gloomily: then he dipped it into his cup of tea, and looked at it again: but he could think of nothing better to say than his first remark, 'It was the best butter, you know.'

Ayaka looked about her hair now full of dust making her bright colors seem rather flushed. Her eyes looked at the bunny who didn't seem any better then she.

Are you alright? I'm sorry...I wasn't expecting the dust to be so much...

She slowly made her way to the bunny boy and helped him up looking back at the attic. Letting out a small breath she smiled softly.

Well, I'm sure there is bound to be clean clothing up there...

She slowly let go of the bun and walked back towards the attic door sighting a few dresses she smiled.

You are in luck!

The scuffling upstairs had been going on for too long and Sato was starting to get particularly suspicious. Stepping out into the main part of the shop, he eyed the top of the stairs critically, wondering what he could use as an excuse should he be caught snooping.

Then he remembered that he'd be staying upstairs and they were technically trespassing in his rooms. With that settled, the redhead started toward the stairs with an air of determination. Even if he walked in on that little brat naked, he wouldn't care.

Having taken care of everything else that she needed to, Pecan sighed and slumped onto the couch. Her parents were running the shop downstairs, Pumpkin was working on homework, and all of her chores were finished. All that work made her want to flee the house, so she did.

It was a typical day in Hopeless, she thought, but some of the neighbors seemed to be discussing something. Walking by a group of them casually, the brunette heard that there were some newcomers and both of them happened to have gone into the Random Shop on the edge of town.

Neither had left.

Curiosity itched at the little girl and she justified her nosiness by reminding herself that she was done with all her chores and homework. One little peek wouldn't hurt and the shopkeeper was a nice one, even if she was rather odd.

Making her way to the strange shop, Pecan couldn't help but smile slightly in remembrance of the nice, old lady that used to live there and her oddball apprentice. It didn't take long to arrive and then the young teen was left wondering whether she should just go in or try to peer through a window.

Eventually, she decided that since she knew the shopkeeper, then it would be alright if she entered. If she needed a reason, she could always pick up a knickknack or two as gifts.

Plucking up her courage, Pecan opened the door and saw someone who could have passed as Ayaka's brother just by how bright a red his hair was.

After being helped to his feet, the Hare ambled over to see what Ayaka was looking at and was unable to prevent staring. They were clothes, surely, but normally they were only seen on a certain type of person - female.

Then again, it wasn't as if he had much choice at this point and Ayaka seemed to think it was fine if he wore them. He supposed that it was fine.

"Which one... do you think I should wear?"

Hearing voices, Midori booted up and blinked open his eyes. The first thing he saw were copious amounts of dust bunnies. The voices continued as Midori struggled to take stock of himself. Nothing seemed corrupted, but he didn't know where he was or how he had arrived in such a place.

Slowly, he managed to crawl out from under wherever he was to find out who was speaking. From what he could see, there was a girl with two very different colors of hair and what appeared to be some sort of human with bunny accessories. Scooting out further, Midori sat up slowly with a groan, lifting his arms to see what felt so sticky on them.

He was covered in cobwebs and dust bunnies.

"Whichever one you feel the most comfortable wearing..."

Ayaka smiled softly whispering lightly, the bun seemed to have some real big trouble with large and unexpected noises so she really needed to take her time and being soft with the bunny.

"so which one do you like?"

Turning his head at the sound of the door opening, Sato got his first look at what his time in Hopeless would be like.

"Can I... help you, little girl?" Her big, dark eyes were staring at him, but her mouth didn't move. She was silent for a long while, which gave him time to notice a hot feeling in the pit of his stomach when a certain thought crossed his mind.

'She's cute.'

"U~uh," she seemed to be having some trouble getting her brain to restart. The boy was rather attractive, despite calling her 'little'. She could forgive that if he just kept talking.

The redhead didn't.

Snapping her mouth shut with a 'click', she frowned at him thoughtfully. This must be one of the newcomers that the townspeople had mentioned. No one knew anything about them, really, just that one had bright, red hair and the other had bunny ears.

"I came to shop. Now, are you going to let me or stand in my way the entire time?" The young brunette was displeased with her reaction and, illogically, decided to take it out on him.

"Er... I think," the Hare started to say, lifting his arm slowly to point at a rather plain, green dress before he was distracted.

Head whipping to the side, Marchy saw an unsteady figure behind him with their arms outstretched. The figure groaned.

Screeching, the Hare jumped and grabbed onto Ayaka, wrapping his arms around her chest as he clung to her head. His eyes never left what he believed to be a mummy.

At hearing the screech, Midori turned slowly and saw who must be the owners of the house. He was confused and rather upset at still not being able to locate Arora, not to mention that he was in a completely strange place once again with no idea how he got there.

"Uhhhhh..." he tried, not sure what to say or how to explain his presence. There wasn't a lot that he could say, not knowing anything much about the how's or why's himself. Standing carefully, the green-haired boy plodded over to them, not putting his arms down quite yet because they still felt nasty from the cobwebs and dust.

Ayaka gasp at the sudden tight hold, her eyes slowly moved to notice what the Hare was so frighten off. She seemed to be collecting people for her shop, another strange looking green boy was before them, why the Hare was so frighten of him she had no clue but that seemed like she had thought before how he always was going to be which meant Sato and herself had to be quite careful.

"Um....how can we help you?"

Ayaka finally asked, her arms slowly pulling the Hare into a warm embrace.

"Ri~ight," Sato grumbled before stepping out of the way. Tilting his head slightly, he studied her, noting the flushed face and clenched hands at her side. There was something fishy about her.

That, and she had prevented him from heading upstairs to see what those two were doing up there. The redhead was mildly annoyed as he shut the door behind her.

Then he heard the shriek.

Pecan nearly stomped her way inside, heading over to where most of the knickknacks were. However, halfway there, someone screeched upstairs. The redhead seemed a little stunned, staring at the doorway at the top of the stairs as if something vexing existed there.

Brushing passed him, she hurried up the stairs because now that she was listening there was some shuffling and banging and footsteps. The brunette arrived on the second floor and pushed the door open the rest of the way forcefully.

There, stumbling toward what looked like a bunny-topped Ayaka, was a very dirty boy.

"Hey, you, stop that! Can't you see that you're scaring people?!" Pecan shouted, stomping over to the shuffling stranger and grabbing his arm.

Startled at being grabbed for seemingly no reason, Midori jerked and looked down at the little girl holding onto him. What had she just said? That he was scaring people? Looking over at the other two, he supposed that it did look as if at least one was frightened of him.

"Oh, sorry! I just... I didn't mean to... sorry," he mumbled ineffectually. It's not as if he had meant any harm.

"Muh-muh-muh-muh-muh-mummy!" The Hare insisted, clinging tighter to Ayaka. Hatty had read about them and warned the Hare that they were real, but he almost hadn't believed. Now, he most definitely feared even though there was a male speaking and there was only one other on the second floor at that point.

It couldn't be the mummy, but it also wasn't Sato. Shaking his head, the Hare tried and failed to figure out who would be foolish enough to try and talk to a mummy. They were the undead! The only result would be that whoever it was would get eaten, killed!

As scary a thought as that was, the Hare was very glad that it wasn't him the one that was talking to the mummy. Hatty wouldn't have been scared, he was sure. The Hatter was always very brave, even when the flowers had been really scary to him once.

Funny thing was that he had never seen that patch of flowers after that day, which was just a relief to him.

Ayaka blinked holding on to the startled bunny who seem to go into deep thought every once in a while before going back to his shuttering self. Ayaka's eyes glanced at the really dusty boy, well it wouldn't help placing him in a dress like she did the bun, and right now the upstairs was permanently occupied, by what she wasn't quite sure. The feeling it gave her however was close to the feelings most everyone around her that was an undead gave her. A vampire perhaps.

"Hare, it's ok...the mommy is just a very dirty boy... he isn't a mommy at all."

With a sigh, Sato followed Pecan upstairs, glancing back at the front door once he was at the top. It didn't seem like anyone was going to come busting in to shop, especially since he had just decided to set up his business here.

What he found upstairs, the first look he had of his new apartment, was borderline chaos.

Taking note of everyone and everything, he leaned up against th door jamb and waited to see what would happen. Nothing good would happen if he went stomping around, demanding things - this time, at least.

"Well, you should be more careful next time. Where did you come from, anyway?" Pecan asked quickly, loosening her grip on the boy slightly. The green-haired male didn't look too much older than she was, yet he acted like his head was full of air.

Gosh, how many people out there were like Pumpkin and Cucumber?! No wonder things were going bad in other places. At least Hopeless was in a free state or they'd have to deal with all sorts of crazy things like war and such. No one wanted to fight with the country where the Hunters were based.

That would just be suicide.

"Er... I-I'm from the Internet?" Midori laughed nervously. This place was a long way from home and he didn't even know if anyone here had heard of where he was created. Looking around at those present, he smiled weakly. These people looked strange enough to be from his home, but they obviously weren't.

How strange.

"It's not! It's a mummy! It's a mummy! A mummy! Mummy, mummy, mummy! Hatty warned me about mummies and now there's a mummy!" The Hare practically sobbed as he clung to Ayaka's head. Why wouldn't she believe him?

The male voice spoke again along with a little girl's voice. Confused as he was, he didn't understand who was speaking. It wasn't Ayaka, he was sure.

Shaking, he turned his head to look, noting the little girl talking to the dirty, dirty mummy boy. Then again, the mummy didn't look so much like a mummy, just dirty. He even had green hair! The Hare was beyond confused now.

Ayaka couldn't help but to smile at the Hare, he seemed a bit more out of it now however. More then likely it would just make it a bit worse. Ayaka's sight glanced at Pecan and then at Midori, his home was the internet? She blinked now confused.

"You mean, in the computer?"

Her hand lifted slowly to point at an old PC, sure it wasn't the best but it was something she had worked hard to obtain specially in a town like in the one she lived. Not many electronic devices were sold and the few hat were, could be considered antiques.

The red-haired vampire had no idea what they were going on about, but he was curious so he remained where he was. From his spot, Sato could keep an eye on the shop and all the weirdos in his new living area.

The Hare's panicking amused him and Ayaka was consistently motherly in word and deed. Pecan was a little more than annoying, though, and whomever the green-haired boy was yet to be explained. How did he get up here, for one thing?

"The Internet?!" Pecan burst out laughing, now having to hold onto Midori's arm to keep herself upright. That had to be the craziest thing she'd ever heard! Maybe he was raised more by the online community than his parents, but saying that you were 'from the Internet' was impossible and stupid.

"Seriously? You must be joking." Straightening up, she had to wipe at the edges of her eyes to stop the tears her laughter brought forth from itching. This boy obviously needed some teaching and guidance, but she wasn't sure that she'd be able to handle adding another. Just keeping Pumpkin and Cucumber from accidentally killing themselves was a full job when they were in her care and Carrot wasn't much of a help most of the time.

"I'm not joking," Midori contradicted softly, looking down at the little girl a little confused and hurt by her laughter. "I can access my home from any computer that can connect to the Internet, yes."

Lifting his head, he stared at the bunny boy and the girl he was using as (he supposed) a hiding spot. He just noticed that she had really weird hair, not that he had any room to think such things.

If the boy over by the door and he donated data, was it possible to get hair like that? Maybe it would just be one color or the other or possibly even brown as a mix or something.

"Is there a computer around here with Internet capabilities?"
