He found acceptable clothing in the chest, padding into the bathroom warily. The room he found was surprisingly clean, considering that it belonged to a young and, as far as he could tell, single man. All of the bottles and jars in the room had hand-written labels, which meant that the redhead either made all his own toiletries or purchased them from someone who did.
It was a fascinating idea, but from what he had heard of Hopless it wasn't very surprising. This was a town of creators, farmers, and business owners. Each person in this town was trained from birth to excel at the family business.
There was no alternative.

a sweat drop began to form as the girl continued to speak, a perv him?! well, she wasn't that far off but really he had no real urge to be a perv towards girls that just wasn't his stile or preference. Shaking his head he sighted.
"I just stumbled here, I was traveling and then puff I was in your back yard."
He closed his eyes moving his hand to his face.
"Hopeless, perfect town for mah situation"

Sato couldn't hold back the smirk at Alice's reaction. Those cupcakes were the first things that he'd made in years. Apparently, he still had the magic and he couldn't wait until Ayaka came back. He had chosen to make strawberry because of her and now he was glad for it.
If only he could have just one... but he could not.
He would not. That was not a part of his plan and he
would not
deviate from it.
"I'm guessing that you like it," he stated flatly, though if she could see his face it would be obvious that he was not unaffected.

"Its Delicious!, I've never tasted anything like it!"
Alice took another bite she wanted to savor every last bite of the strawberry rapture that exploded in her mouth. Her taste buds were in paradise.

"How were you traveling -
plane
?! That still doesn't explain how you came to be in
my
backyard!" Pecan declared, wondering about how strange it was that there were so many new and interesting people in Hopeless all of a sudden. With the arrival of Ayaka, there had been a flurry of rumors and such, but now that she had assistants and whatnot with her they were all strange.
It was like the lady with Christmas hair had opened the door for weirdos to start coming to their town and Pecan rather liked it.

Leon blinked his big, brown eyes at the town that lay before him, spread out like too much cream cheese on a bagel. One moment, he had been in his garden, checking up on his favorite flowers, and then it felt as if the world tilted and he spilled from Wonderland.
Now, he was here, in a very much non-Wonderland place, and
he didn't know where his sister was
.
It wasn't just the fact that she could come flying out of the bushes with a rusty machete that worried him (because he was used to that), but the fact that his darling, big sister was lost and alone in a strange world.
If nothing else, he had to change his clothes so that he fit in with the town. They seemed to be of the middle class sort, which means that he could probably get away with running around in his undergarments. Stripping down to his shorts and short-sleeved shirt, Leon tucked the rest of his royal garb into the bushes.
Were it conceivable, then he would retrieve them, but for now they had to go. With that, he turned and headed into town, trying to figure out what had happened to him, his sister, and Wonderland.

"I wish it would of been by plane.."
He finally let out his eyes not leaving the young girl. He closed his eyes for a moment before he opened his eyes yet again.
"I was sucked out of one world and thrown to the next I guess, I don't even recall how I got to the first world..."

"World traveler?" Pecan murmured mostly to herself. Here before her was another
weirdo
and perhaps this was how Ayaka had so many strange workers all of a sudden. That would make sense. Did they come here solely for work or did Ayaka bribe them or something?
She supposed that she might as well ask.
"So, what are you doing here in Hopeless, might I ask? Are you looking for a job or maybe a certain someone?" Pecan asked, wondering if this strange person was looking for Ayaka or just a job and she was the one who happened to provide it.

Once finished with his shower, Maou allowed himself a great sigh, practically purring as he roughly towel-dried his hair first. It had been
far
too long since he had access to a proper bathroom.
His imps squabbled over who would use the hand towel first, though it was obvious who would be the victor. It only took a few moments for the males to back down and let Ume use the terrycloth first.
For a moment, Maou worried about what Sato could have done to Alice in the time it had taken him to shower, but forced those thoughts away. It wasn't his problem and he didn't give a damn about little girls that ran head-first into danger.
Not his problem; not his fault. Not his problem; not his fault. Not his problem - oh, who was he kidding?
Tossing the borrowed clothes on, Maou headed downstairs as quickly as he could manage without damaging anything.

"Well, that's to be expected. I
am
the best, after all," Sato stated simply, though not without a little pride. It was just a fact that he knew throughout all his being. Of course, nothing so wonderful could exist without a dark secret. Everything required sacrifice.
Just the thought about how the quality would wane with the progression of his plan made him nervous, but he was resolute. If it worked, he wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore and all of the pain would go away.
Sato would continue creating his masterpieces, making sure that as many people as possible tried them. If he spread them out, there would be less of an impact on the populace, but there had to be one person that received a consistently concentrated dose.
Turning, finally, to face Alice, Sato observed her thoughtfully. Was this the one?

Acid blinked, he could say someones name. Anyone's really and he might get a chance at finding someone he knew. Or he could play it safe and just nod to the word job, his decision was quick and very vague.
"I am looking for a job, and I was also told that around this world was a rather sweet lady who was willing to provide it for me?"
Of course there had to be sweet ladies in such town right? hopefully there was an old decrepet lady that owned a store in which he could work at for at least three days before baling out on the poor thing.

The shopkeepers were all very nice when he asked if they knew where his sister was. One particularly kind lady had given him some of her grandson's clothes since he had grown out of them. The worn clothes were far better than his underclothes, so he was quite thankful.
Leon rather liked the working class since every time he'd interacted with them they were very generous. When he figured some things out, he'd have to repay them to show them the extent of his gratitude. The town seemed to be in very good shape, so it couldn't just be repairs or something like that. He'd just have to consider it further and do more research.
Unfortunately, the only thing he couldn't find out was
where
Hopeless was in relation to Wonderland. No one had ever heard of it, according to all those that he'd spoken to, but they'd also admitted that not many of the natives here traveled very far.
The only one that ever had, that they knew, was the one they called 'Random' that lived on the edge of town. She was rumored to live in the Goddess Woods, which were re~eally dangerous and no place for a young boy, and ran the Random Shop with her new assistants, who were also from strange lands.
That's where he headed.

Pecan's jaw nearly dropped at the stranger's response. They really
were
coming here for Ayaka! That was so weird. With a shrug, Pecan decided that she'd just have to poke around and see if there was any particular reason that they were all coming to Ayaka or if it was just some strange coincidence. This sort of thing had never happened with the older lady who hired Ayaka.
"Ok! I'll let you through and I'll
even
take you to Ayaka's," Pecan chirped, stepping aside to let the green-haired man in. The Ayaka situation was really getting fascinating. "The others didn't get such a pretty escort, so you should be proud."
