"Juss like it wuz a short stroll through de forest ter grandma's kun fe Little Red Rid'n 'Ewd," Edward pointed out from where he stood at the top of the stairs. Unable to resist, he leaned back against the wall, doing his cool pose as he considered what he would have to do to keep the adorable redhead safe.

He might have to just wait a bit to gain more trust, but Ed didn't think it would be too hard. The tailor and he seemed to be getting along just swell. What could go wrong?

Gina laughed softly, he glanced up at the other as he leaned against the wall. He looked down at the tea again, he wished momentarily that he could be as cool as the other seemed just then. He put a small dollop of honey in each cup before adding milk to his own. Finally he stuck some spoons in each  and carried the cups over to the hunter. "Here you go." He said with a smile.

"Ta," Ed murmured graciously as he accepted his drink, smiling right back at the adorable tailor. The thought that Gin wasn't taken and just seemed so lonely kept dancing around in his head. Surely, if he had some sort of suitor, he wouldn't be so alone. Ed would have to do more poking around, but that was definitely how it looked.

All the better for him.

Gin smiled. He didn't have company often and so this was a treat for him. "Is the tea alright?" he asked, sipping his own gingerly. He hoped he'd made it to the other's liking. He was eager to please the other. He wanted to be friends.... Then he wouldn't have to talk all the way to his uncle's house for company.

"It's tasty," Ed assured the redhead with a smile after taking a small sip. To him Darjeeling was good, but Earl Grey was better. There were some very good orange-flavored teas out there and he was always eager to try them.

Maybe he could contrive a way to come by to visit Gin every so often, if the tailor consented. The brunette had no intention of making a nuisance of himself.

Gin's smile widened just a bit "You think so? Ah...I mean, I'm glad that you like it." He said with a nod, sipping his own tea from the cracked mug he held delicately in his small hands. The red head was trying to think of a way to prolong this little visit without causing the hunter any trouble.

It seemed that the weather was very different between the cities, Neo-Tokyo being cold and dark while White city was far better warm and bright. A silly contrast but oddly ironic. Traveling between towns was common for the boy looking man, his hair making him stand out as he crossed into Neo-Tokyo. Strands of blue faded to green and yellow hues as it progressed down his head ending in a slate gray at the ends. Fiddling with a few buttons from his shirt he decided to take a different route today. Hunter's Town.

He had always been one to wander around cities and explore for new things to draw and honestly he had found so many unique sketches he could to in both cities: White city and Neo-Tokyo; but what he had heard from those in White city about Hunter's Town seemed to reassure him of safety and comfort. What was the best place to draw. Where one could not be bothered right?

Looking up at the afternoon sky was different as he left Neo-Tokyo, it being sunny and cheerful. It seemed to stretch the smile upon his face to even wider lengths. Continuing to go west, the man ventured finally into the city around mid afternoon.

"Which is say'n firkin because a lotti people can't make a good cuppa," Ed murmured, swirling his tea a bit before taking another sip. Glancing up, he gave Gin another smile, feeling very strange as he did it. Was he flirting with the little, red-haired tailor?

Another glance and Ed realized that he was flirting - him!

As time progressed, fingers upon his shirt buttons always fiddling in patience, the man ventured further into the depths of the city. Looking around he smiled at seeing how content people were being here even though the place was not that best of looks. He always loved being able to see since voice never used. People would ask if he rather be blind so that he talk but he always denied the advice. Seeing was believing for him.

Picking at the string to the sixth button upon his light blue shirt he suddenly felt it give way from the fiddling he had done on the way. A soft tink was heard only to him a frown crossing his face. Well thats not good. Bending down to look for the button his eyes scanned quickly to find what he was looking for. A pretty opal like button laying in the dirt. Now how do I suppose to get this back intact

He began to look around for the answer to his problems.

Gin gave a broad smile "Thank you!" he said earnestly, drinking down his own. He supposed that was a very nice compliment from an Englishman who probably consumed more tea than he did on a regular basis. He looked down and ran his fingers through his hair, the light catching the different shades of red and seeming to send off a multitude of brilliant sparks.

The tailor was so very cute when he smiled so happily that it made Ed's heart rate speed up. He couldn't stop the blush stealing over his cheeks and had to take a big swig of his tea to hide it. A good ways into his drink, the brunette chanced another glance and was entranced by Gin's hair, lit up by the failing sun as it sought to brighten everything it could before sinking below the horizon.

Because of his negligence, some of his tea tried to sneak down the wrong tube, forcing Ed to cough lest the fluid irritate his bronchial tubes and settle uncomfortably in his lungs. His eyes burned from the effort and he had to be careful with his tea to keep it from spilling.

Seeing a tailor sign above an elegant looking door, the boy quickly hurried to the entry. Peering in before he opened the door, he noticed no one was about. I think they may be closed, he told himself. Trying the door he noticed that it was unlocked. Pulling it back a little he managed to get inside quickly with the sound of a loud bell chiming.

Why am I so scared. It is obviously open, he told himself even though he oddly felt like he was interrupting something.

"O-oh! Are you alright?" He took a step forward, watching the other almost choke with a worried look on his face. He tried to make sure the other wasn't going to die as the bell on the door jingled to signal the appearance of a possible customer.
"Ah, um, Please excuse me." he murured,s etting his teacup down and hurrying to the shop portion of his store. he blinked on seeing the other boy there. Two people his age in one day? What had they installed a highschool here without his noticing?

"Am sound. Ey yous as ay choke ter death," Ed managed to splutter, but the redhead was already off to tend to his shop. Mildly disappointed that the image of beauty had been ruined by his own reaction, he frowned as he thoughtfully eyed his tea cup. Whoever was at the door could be there for him as well as for Gin. Hunters were sneaky like that and he hand no intention of letting those meddling old fogies mess with the tailor on his account.

Carefully, Ed crept down the stairs after Gin, keeping close to the wall to avoid any possible creaky steps. He paused at the bottom, listening.

Standing patiently at the front door, the boy waited to be helped. Within seconds he heard footsteps coming from above and later a boy with long red hair stepped out into the sun lit part of the room they were in. Still trying to think of how he could ask for help, he smiled weakly with a wave. Presenting the button to the boy, he assumed that he must be the owner of this tailor shop.

All his life he had always had trouble getting things or asking for them really. He sometimes hated his handicap but at the same time it made him who he was. No really remembering when he stopped talking he considered that he must have been born like that.

Looking down at the spot where the button had been popped off due to his fiddling he frowned and looked back to the boy. He was embarrassed that his shirt was open almost all the way to his navel. Warmth began to rise in his cheeks.

"Oh, hello!"
Gin said with cheer. Though his perpetual state of shyness, as always, shone through. He bit his lip a little, coming closer. He studied the other boy, seeing the outstretched piece of cloth. "Ah, I see your button has come loose..." He came even closer to inspect it. Now any sense of modesty or awkwardness was gone as he got into his element. Sewing and fixing things like this was more comfortable to him than anything else.
"Ah...I haven't seen you around here before. My name is Gin. Gin Couture." he said with a smile.

Frowning in confusion, Ed poked his head around the door jam to observe the customer, if that's what the visitor was. The first sight of the stranger stunned him momentarily, not expecting the multi-colored hair of the visitor. Since whoever it was did seem to be here for Gin's trade, the brunette stepped into the room and leaned against the door jam rather than peer around it.

If the person was just pretending to be a customer to catch Gin unawares, Ed's protective presence would discourage any assault or kidnappings - probably.

"Juss a button?"

Seeing as the red headed man proceeded forward, he tensed up at the sudden surprise of movement. The sound of shuffling feet and another coming into the room took him by surprised and a blush came upon his cheeks. Nodding his head at the asking of what he needed he smiled and placed the button in the man's hands.

Inhaling slowly as the other continued in investigating the reasoning behind the lost button he tried to stand as still as he could only to realize he was about to fall faint from holding his breath to long. After the other finished with what he was doing either fixing or investigating. Letting out the air held in quickly he deflated his chest and blushed more as his eyes laid upon the man in the doorway.

Gin gently picked up the cloth of the other's shirt between his thumb and forefinger. He studied the simple fix before letting go and smiling softly. "If you'll hold on a moment I'll have this done in no time at all." he moved to find proper colored thread and a needle. Sewing on buttons was a ridiculously simple task. However he wasn't really all that surprised that most people in the city didn't know how.

He came back, having threaded the needle. "Here we go." The young red headed man got to work on the button.

Seeing Gin working so calmly on fixing the stranger's button, Ed couldn't help but wonder why the customer hadn't said a word. It would have been much easier to simply say that he needed his button reattached, though the pantomime worked just fine. What if he needed to have a secret pocket stitched onto the inside of his shirt or his pants hemmed up a bit? How would he communicate that if he didn't open his gob?

Shrugging a bit to himself, he eyed the two strange teens. They were both teens, which surprised him a bit. There weren't very many young people in the Hunters' Town and to have three all in one room was amazing. Ed shrugged again, considering asking if the newer one was mute or something.

Would that seem rude if he was mute?

He was surprised at how comfortable the man was with his work, the simply task of a button not aggravating him with the thought of it being petty. As the man mended his problem his eyes scanned back to the other individual at the door behind the red head. Difference was just what that man gave off and something inside of the boy made him wonder what exactly that could be. The sound of a cat could be heard in the back alarming his senses even more. A worried expression fell upon his face as he tuned his ears into where exactly the cat might be.

Please dont let it be hurt..., he told himself in his thoughts as he wondered again if these people were residing here together.  It being his first time to this city particularly, he had not seen many other young ones like himself running around but now....he was in a room with two others.

Gin finally finished, clipping the thread neatly. The button was now firmly attached and looked as if nothing had ever been wrong with it in the first place. Gin took a step back to survey his work before smiling gently. "There you are. All fixed." his red hair fell about his face in soft waves. "No charge of course." he said with a nod. After all, he'd only had to use a tiny bit of thread, and the other boy had provided his own button anyway. What could he possibly charge him for?

He looked back to Ed and blushed a little bit. He'd left the other in there, choking on his tea, to come out here and sew on a button. He was a tad embarrassed.

Still nothing from the stranger, though now Ed wondered if it was because he was mute or just stunned by how close and pretty Gin was. The brunette shook his head slightly as if to dislodge that thought. Perhaps it was just him silently mooning over his new (pretty) acquaintance and neither of the other two had any idea what was going through his head.

Probably not.

Gin's blush was a little dazing, though, and Ed kept having to remind himself to blink lest his eyeballs dry up and fall out of his head from all the staring he was doing. Why was it that he found himself being incredibly rude? Neither of the other young men seemed comfortable enough to start a conversation, but then Gin wasn't exactly silent - as he shouldn't be with that kind of voice - and it was the other boy that was being rude by not saying a bloody thing.

"You're ni - ah, I mean, new, aren't yous? Whuz do yous 'ail from?"

It felt like the table was not only turned on him but thrown into his gut full throttle. He hated being asked questions mainly due to the fact of his speech impairment; such a knot in his life. Fiddling with his sleeves that encased his hands almost, he bit his lip and blinked a few times at the stranger who seemed to be having trouble sipping whatever it was he was drinking. Opening his mouth a little, he pushed out air hoping for the handicap to disappear.

"Uh-uh...", he began only soon to close his mouth in embarrassment.

Looking out the window at the bright day they were in, a frown crossed his face and a shrug rolled off his shoulders. Walking over slowly and cautiously, he held his hand out to the boy at the stairs. Hand outstretched and nervous smile etched on his lips, he waited for physical contact to begin yet again.

I hope that I can make it past the introduction of myself. In the end...I can always head out the door in a hurry, he thought quickly.

His smile became real once again.

Gin looked between them with curiousity. Ed seemed determined to view this other boy with some sort of cautious distaste and he wasn't quite sure as to why. "Er, perhaps you don't like to talk?" Gin offered, looking to the boy. It was understandable, he himself was painfully shy when it came to others but he supposed there could be a more extreme form that made speaking impossible...
