Sometimes a little bit of fun can go a long way
« on: February 01, 2010, 11:26:39 PM »
Mao's ears perked up, her little ferret body moved slightly after. It had been a while since she began to take care of Iridori. Leaving the child behind to be cared by Ayaka was going to be a good idea after all. She stretched turning back into her human form, the lights and shadows expanding to that of a woman, it had been so long since anyone had seen her as a woman she was known to be an animal and an animal she wanted to stay the pain in her heart was much to great and with a little heart it was easier to be carried.

"...ngh..."

Her voice was soft the dark/white hair covered half of her face while it covered nearly half of her back, she really needed to cut it and soon. Standing she leaned over to see below from the window her naked body just barely touching  the cold wall.

"So lets begin..."

Going to her back pack she began to put together an outraged outfit.  Chuckling she opened the door looking both ways before running out as quickly as she could. Soon as she was out the fun was sure to begin.

When everything else fails, beat them.

Kokoro growled softly as his mind strayed to unpleasant paths of thought. Shaking his head softly, he stood and wondered where his daughter had gotten off to while he was lost to thought. His other self wasn't even around any longer. For all he knew, it could have been days since he last moved.

Shrugging to himself, he padded down the hallway in search of someone to update him on the status of all those important to him.

Lein blinked his eyes were heavy, he had not slept in a very long time mainly because of the creepy noises the creatures outside were making. He let out another nervous sigh which turned into a near sob. Why did he have to be the one fallowing the case his sister so lovingly took?! Shaking his head he let out yet another sigh, where would he be able to find a garden in this God forsaken place? there was hardly any lively trees.

"Stupid..."

His voice was sweet and gentle almost like a sick girls voice. Green eyes glanced about to see if there was any signs of color; which there wasn't, gardens that ate people they had to be kidding! The wind picked up making his purple hair poke one of his eyes (this was usual for them) he let out a grunt before rubbing his eye.

His stomach growled irritably as he turned the nth dark corner in a city full of darkness. He practically needed nightvision goggles just to get around! Even worse, he hadn't seen a single restaraunt or store in the entire city! There was always the possibility that he was going in circles, of course, but he tried not to think about it.

Staring across the street, Byakko stared sightlessly at one of the most remarkable rose gardens in the area - not that he cared or even knew anything about gardening. There wasn't even anyone to make art of around and that was a crying shame in his book.

"Tiger, tiger, burning bright / In the forests of the night," he murmured sourly as he leaned against the stone fence behind him. If he didn't find some form of sustenance soon, there would be problems that he had no interest dealing with right then.

Looking at a map of the city Lein sighted, his hand moved to his back pack and puled it around to place the map back in it. His green hues slowly closed, this city was creepy, stupid, and dark. Why did he have to come here in the first place. Something then came to him.

"If the garden is not out...then..."

He let out a soft growl, while his hand moved up to hit his forehead. Why hadn't he thought about it before, an inside garden. Then the suspect had to be an attractive host, this was going to get dirty and soon. First he needed to figure out their gender then their preferences.

Eyes of emerald starred up at the dark sky, the clouds curdling with anguish from the creator of it all. A smirk crossed a pair of warm pink lips as a soft chuckle escaped them smoothly. Yuketsu stood next to the fountain of Ambrosia, a timeless center piece to one of the sections in the garden known as "BloodFall". It was his temple, his master piece, his...sanctuary. Taking his eyes from the blackened sky now, he crossed them upon the many petals of blood red around him. Another smirk crept across his lips this one more twisted than before.

"Another night to feed? I take it you all must be hungry again. Indeed you need something...your beauty is fading...", he spoke out softly, his voice pure and silky in texture.

Walking up to a bush of red roses, he caressed a few of their petals with the sides of his fingers and sighed.

"Your glow is dieing, your color weakening", he began as he closed his eyes.

Suddenly the roses in the garden all around the hotel began to close slowly, their petals drawing in their deadly ruby glow into their depths.

"Release your perfume....bring ones to the depths of your purity", he whispered out, his eyes still closed but lids fluttering as though they were fighting to see the sight about to begin.

"Find them...", his voice spit out seductively.

The rose's around the man and garden suddenly unfolded with a burst of red glow, a strong scent of rose perfume invading the atmosphere quickly. Strangely there was a pheromone inside the perfume that would evoke others to follow where it originated from. Yuketsu chuckled as he sat upon a bench next to the three layered fountain.

Byakko's stomach grumbled again, drawing a groan from deep inside his chest. Dying now from starvation sounded like just about the stupidest way to die after all this time, all he suffered.

The sickly smell of roses drifted across the street and he fought back his gag reflex. For some reason there was a draw towards the source of the smell, but the blue-haired male resisted. He was hungry, not trying to impress someone or kill himself.

For the moment, he chose to remain where he was because he could tell that something was messing with his head.

Taking out a jar of pills from his backpack and opening it slowly he pulled out one strangely phosphorescent blue pill. He sure as hell hoped it would work Lain had told him to take it before entering the city, something about braking other things in 30 minutes if necessary. He shrugged finally swallowing the blue pill. Placing the rest of them in his bag he stood up to the sent of roses, he blinked well there had to be a garden there so Lain was right and he really needed to go and find said garden, but why did he feel like a pull was being placed upon him.

"You'd think I'd be smart and not go, but..."

he whispered to himself before placing his backpack back on him hiding the bow and arrow behind it. He then began to run towards the source.

A sigh escaped his lips as he rested the back of his head against the marble surface of the fountain. Closing his eyes slowly, he propped his right leg on top of the others and waited to her walking in the distance if any would take place soon. Twiddling his thumbs, he smirked at the images that crossed the blacks of his eyes lids.

"Oh what fun I used to have.....", he whispered out loud.

A rustle was heard in the distance suddenly. Eyes flashing open, their emerald color piercing, Yuketu's smirk gained interest in what was out there.

"Come out come out where ever you are...", he whispered again, a menacing voice took play.

Standing up and dusting his black, tight slacks, he brushed his bangs from his eyes and walked around the fountain looking out to the bushes for evidence someone was out there still.

Lein gasped for air, so much running made him really tired. His eyes glanced up to see a strange hotel before him. It looked rather dark he sighted. Why? Why him? his sister was so strange trying to make him figure out this mystery on his own. What was so important about her staying at White city?!

Byakko groaned louder, trying to ignore the pain his stomach. Just sitting there wasn't going to get something to fill it, so he stood and started walking. Unfortunately, with the draw towards the garden that is the direction he ended up heading in.

'How annoying,' the blue-haired boy grumbled mentally as he finally focused and found himself amongst flowers. 'This makes no fucking sense.'

Lein finally moved into some strange roads inside the hotel, reaching a rather strange conjunction of odd bright looking plants, his eyes were looking at everything with a sense of danger. Though he didn't believe in dangerous places such as man eating gardens yet he still wanted to be careful anyway.

Yuketsu heard a few hurried footsteps perking his ears up a notch. A smirk spread upon his lips as he looked in the direction that the steps came from.

"We found one already.....hmmmm", he spoke to himself as he began to walk within a pathway given to him from the garden.

After a few minutes of walking Yuketsu sat upon another wrought iron bench and looked up to the gray sky. As he caressed a rose beside him, the footsteps began to become louder. The smirk on his face thickened with patience as he awaited the "visitor" in the garden.

I hope this one is different. I hate child's play..., he thought to himself.

Mao blinked a rather stage sent was emitting from the hotel she didn't quite like. Her eyes closed cutting of her sense of smell. Hiding behind a small building she turned into Yugure and walked out her eyes looking from one side to the other seeing a young male running towards the hotel she chuckled.

"good luck you poor soul...."

Shifting through the shadows, Kokoro stalked through the hotel cautiously. Kamikuro should be around, but so far the vampire hadn't sensed him at all and if he wasn't doing his job, then just about anyone could walk in and do away with Kokoro's ex-lover. Displeased, the black-haired vampire continued ascending, avoiding those floors that were occupied by unknown beings, particularly the spider woman and the cat.

All the creatures that Yugure surrounded himself with seemed to be loose cannons and Kokoro had no desire to come under fire. The only comforting thing about this visit was that he was alone and no one else would be getting in the way.

If he found that shadow, he would tear it to shreds.

Turning around, Byakko found himself staring at a wall of flowers. It seemed as if he had just been placed at the beginning of a path, not that he had walked in amongst the red, girly things.

"This is stupid," he grumbled, turning once again so that he could at least have some space. The path was narrow and the blue-haired male had the distinct feeling of being watched, but he started forward resolutely. Perhaps he could find some small animal to devour in this maze.

His stomach gurgled pathetically.

Mao looked up at the higher floors, turning into Yugure she manged to make his sent be stronger she had no idea how she manged to do so but somehow during the transformation the sent had grown slightly. Thankfully it subsidized, she picked up a rose wine and drank it all in one chug if she was going to make this Yugure plot believable she was going to need quite a few fail saves and she had them all.

The footsteps continued to thundered his way as the rustle of vines and petals could be heard in the windless night. Yuketsu closed his eyes slowly. Suddenly the garden began to darken to a dim lighted path, the paths' lights turning down a few notches in brightness. Opening his eyes again, Yuketsu stood up once more from the bench he sat upon. Dusting his backside off, he stretched his arms out and shook his legs around before he placed his smirk against his lips again.

Why must everything come with time. I like haste better.....what a shame, he thought to himself as he scanned the area he was in.

He was in an area that was about the size of a typical bedroom. In the middle was a beautiful rose bush set in dirt and surrounded by a circular slab of concrete that fit around it. Two benched sat opposite from each other around the bush, their metal being wrought iron and kinda rustic looking already. A wall of roses surrounded the concrete slab besides for the exit and entrance on to the rest of the garden that were placed neatly in front of both  benches.

Placing his hand on the back part of the bench, he shifted his weight to the hip of choice and waited again.

"Is there going to be anything exciting happening tonight??? Hmmmmm", he said as he looked up to the dark castle like hotel, "Cause if not you need to make some....I know you can hear me....", he rolled his eyes and sighed.

Lein's eyes looked at the side of him, his eyes glanced at the flowers that were moving like there was not a care in the world. Wait, plants? when had he gotten anywhere near a garden? had he fallen sleep? who knew, right now he really wanted to get this done, as much as he LOVED the unknown and scary (not really) he wanted to get this job done.

Byakko could have sworn he heard a voice just now, but maybe not. Making his way through the flowers, he found that he actually kind of liked the smell, but was too hungry to really enjoy it.

There was a scuffling a little ways away that drew his attention with the hope of food. Following the noise to the source, the blue-haired male saw that it was a small rabbit that had become entangled in the rose bushes and he fell upon it hungrily.

It barely had the time to scream.

Yuketsu heard another shuffle hear....and there within the garden. A few ideas crossed his mind's eye showing visuals to his imagination causing his fingers to itch. They needed to be freed of their innocence casted upon them from the rules he had agreed to. Honestly he was fed up with being such a goodie goodie just for Yugure's sake. How could one person simply ask another to do nothing that they loved to do. He couldn't help that he loved blood and roses especially. Why was it his sick obsession to play in another's blood? He sadly had no idea. But just the thought of it suddenly made his mouth wetter.

"Come out...come out....where ever you are....", he whispered under his breath, his fingers sliding against each other more fondly now.

Stepping to the opposite side of the opening in the garden he was at, he looked to the right and left and back to the original location. Inhaling, he closed his eyes and brought the tips of his fingers to his eyes covering them like a blind fold. Soon enough he exhaled slowly, the excretion of rose perfume hitting the air softly. Hands coming down to his sides, his eyes hummed a deadly poison, their emerald core billowing within itself.

He attuned his senses suddenly with the simply exercise his hearing more accurate and pure, and his other motor skills enhanced at a new fair level. Turning around to face the wall of thorns and roses behind him, he cracked his neck to the side and back straight. Shoving his hands to the sides of himself, the earth cracked and the petals rustled. The wall in front of him pulled back to allow him entrance closer to the one who was hunting...
